Ryan Horvath recently joined our team as an Account Manager. We sat down with him to discuss his experience and education, what he’s looking forward to as he serves clients throughout Ontario, and what keeps him busy outside of work. Keep reading to get to know the newest member of our Sales Team.
Tell us about your previous work experience and finance education. How did it lead you to Stride?
I began my career at GE Capital in the floorplan division, holding various roles and eventually moving into sales. I then moved into the equipment financing industry, working for Volvo and Mack Financial Services.
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lakehead University as well as a Business Administration diploma from Mohawk College. Throughout my career, I’ve also sought out ongoing training and hold certifications in Lean Six Sigma, B.E.L.S. (Building Essential Leadership Skills), and Change Acceleration Process (C.A.P.).
What are you looking forward to about your new role at Stride?
I’m looking forward to working alongside a great team internally and building long lasting relationships externally while providing customers with financing solutions tailored to their needs.
What opportunities do you see as part of Stride and within this new role?
In these uncertain times, customers are looking for options and solutions specific to their business. Stride Capital is able to meet that exact need, providing financing in various industries with an ease of doing business.

What is your life outside of work like?
Outside of work, I play in a men’s hockey league twice a week and enjoy travelling with my wife and daughters and cooking and sharing a great meal with friends and family.
